The concept for the token is simple: the requestor share of the fees will be used to fight climate change by retiring carbon onchain via KlimaDAO. 100% of the WOOD from fees will go to KlimaDAO. 90% of the WETH from fees will go to retire carbon onchain. A contract will be launched where WOOD token holders can lock WOOD to create logs which contain their carbon retirement details. Each time the fees are claimed, a random log is selected by the contract and made the beneficiary of the carbon retirement.
