GimmickBots is a platform for creating automated Twitter (X) bots. It lets users design bots that can post scheduled tweets, images, or memes using a scripting system called Tracery. With Tracery, you can build templates, symbols, and text rules that generate creative or randomized tweets. To run a bot, users connect their X account and provide their own Twitter Developer API keys, since shared access is no longer allowed. Once connected, the bot can tweet on a regular schedule (from every 30 minutes up to once every 30 days). Bots can also include up to four images per tweet. The service is free to start, with optional upgrades for more frequent posting. While it doesn’t currently support auto-replies or responding to mentions, it’s well suited for creating fun, artistic, or niche bots such as quote generators, meme bots, countdowns, or daily reflections.
